Abandoned Farmhouse B&W
This is an abandoned farmhouse that I found on my way to Warsaw Missouri a couple days ago. When I saw the house, there was a mobile home just to the right and I noticed an elderly lady standing in the doorway watching as I slowed down. I drove up the road and came back to take some shots and decided to ask her about the old place. I knocked on the door but she wasn't answering! She probably thought I was one of those old Census takers! : ) There was no color to the house, just shades of gray so I thought this one would look best in B&W. Hope you all have a great weekend! Update September 21, 2010: This is one of my favorite photos. I can't exactly explain why, but it is. I have this matted and framed and I'm drawn to it and can spend too much time just looking at it. The local photo contest is in a few weeks and this will be one of my entries. Thanks to everyone who stop by to view and comment!
Update September 01, 2015: I re-located this old place on my map program and went to take more photos of it, but when I got to it, a bulldozer was there and the old house was gone. If only I had went back a couple months ago.....
