Iconic - American made Greenerd Arbor Press

An essential frame builder's tool imo,, I wouldn't want to be without one. This is a duplicate of my #3 so I'm offering it for sale.

I use mine for pressing the ends of chain/seat stays for chain/cassette clearance.

I have a simple fixture that allows me to put the slight bow in chain stays for 650b tire/fender clearance, and the press can also be used to dimple chain stays for tire/chain ring clearance.

I've made simple cutters/punches out of scrap tubing to cut leather and rubber washers for fender and under fork crowns.

The arbor press can be used for pressing bushings, bearings etc. I use my press often for lots of operations.

Greenerd still makes presses in Nashua N.H.

The press is in very good over all condition and has the round press plate (which seems to go missing on most Ebay offerings). The press also features a custom 2 position handle rest which keeps the handle in a convenient spot.

*sold,, it's new home will be near nyc,, thanks eo

*Pal Richard Sachs doesn't like to clutter up his shop with nonessential equipment,, but he's had an arbor press for as long as I can remember,,, and he uses it. As I said,, an essential frame builder's tool
