Six rides in and this @singularcycles Gryphon is working out really nicely for me, apart from tweaking the saddle height and putting a smaller gear (36x20) on it’s exactly as it came from the shop
The ride is light and nimble which is always a bit of a challenge with such a big bike and a heavy rider, the tube selection and geometry just right for what I want it for which is basically a bike for winter in the back roads and muddy lanes of Cheshire and Lancashire, the basket bag carries the brewing up gear, binoculars and a book, the saddle bag carries the bike spares, dynamo lights mean I’m never getting caught out by the short winter days
All in all I’m very happy with the choices I made to spec this bike and of course the help in finding the right bits and pieces from Shona and Rich at @keep_pedalling
