last summer I got rid of my car, I couldn’t justify owning it any longer so I now only ever ride local trails from the front door of either home (or the caravan we have the use of) and sometimes I get bored
but then I see my favourite tree (which is literally about 100 yards from a dual carriageway) and remember how privileged I am to be able to do this, this small insignificant tree never fails to draw my eye, it’s usually backlit by the sun and occasionally surrounded by dog shit in bags (which is quite baffling)
so there you are, this morning’s ride was a good reminder to be grateful for every day #thinkglobalactlocal #grassupthemiddle
