Anna Herbert
This weeks #ResidentofEIU is the Early Bird Contract contest winner, Anna Herbert!
Anna is from Decatur, Illinois and majors in Middle Level Education with concentrations in literacy/language arts, social sciences, and general sciences.
She currently serves as a member of Education Scholars, Middle Level Educators Club, and Delta Delta Delta.
She said, “My involvement has helped me find my true personality and some of my best friends. Involvement has also given me opportunities within my major and the ability to build relationships with my professors.”
Anna likes living on campus because she enjoys living with her sorority sisters. She believes that living in the sorority house helps create stronger bonds with her and the other women in her chapter.
When asked what advice she would give future Panthers she said, “Get involved and get outside of your comfort zone because there are limitless opportunities.”
Thanks Anna for staying involved on campus and encouraging other students to do so too! We can’t wait to see what else you accomplish!
