NJ Transit train stucked in Hudson River Tunnel for 3 hours

Train #3850 out of Trenton was stuck in the tunnel due to problems with the overhead power, just shortly before reaching Penn Station. It took the operator full three hours to finally rescue the train. There obviously is no emergency plan and rescue means for such events and this for a huge metro system! Walking out would have taken a few minutes, but was strictly not permitted because they were not able to securely switch off the high voltage ground rails.

Critical scenes in the full train, without aircondition and only emergency lights. For some people this is a problem psychologically or for respiration. At least the Passenger Information System does it's job and improves the photo, showing where it is and who to blame.

Infrastructure from the day before yesterday and operation looks more like in a banana republic than in a leading super power. Yes, please make America great again!

Once outside in Penn Station, one finds himself in a panic crowed, reputedly from a shooting.

Truly not the best welcome for a visitor on Good Friday!
