Draconian economic inequity leads to scrapping to survive, FLINT MI 10/17/11 HEARING Flint CIty Council 3rd Floor Council Chambers

by terrybankert

On Monday 10/17/2011 there will be a public hearing in the Flint CIty Council at 5:30 that has been promoted on TV and other places by the Flint City Council. It is a hearing to consider revoking the junk dealers license for alledgedly recieving stolen manhole covers. The Flint Community is outraged because of scrappers taking stolen city property alledgedly to these junk yards and for the loss of metal siding on our homes occupied and unoccupied. Expect a large turnout. Underlying this issue is a national monetary policy that has benefited a few while forcing many into desperate activities to feed their families. Taking stolen metal property to a scrap yard for money may just be a survival mechanism.
