It's the start of the year, and Formula One teams have begun their 2024 campaigns.

1988 marked the final year of the 'Turbo-era', car built with 1.5-litre V6 turbo engines, but the switch to naturally-aspirated 3.5L engines had already begun for some teams, including Benetton.
The B188 was powered by the Ford DFR V8 RA engine, producing 629 PS, certainly less tan the Turbo cars, but one of the leading naturally aspirated cars, with commesurate performance from the Benetton team.
The B188 managed only 1 fastest lap, and no wins, in a year totally dominated by the Mclaren MP4/4. However, as with other Benetton race cars for this era, the striking, colourful livery made it one of the most attractive racecars of this, or any era.
The Benetton is not featured in any Lego sets, but has been chosen to build for its beauty, for this month's mocaround challenge, hosted by @paulielego and finishing up on March 16th.
