Roberta asked me to do it again a month back so here it is.....the FUNNY stuff this time! For the serious stuff go here!
1] i LOVE words! Among my favorites: orifice, quantum, verbose, conundrum, indeed, snarky, anus (yep, sorry, haha), contemplate, tantalize, quip, tart, magma...who doesn't love the word magma?
2] I compulsively clean out my ear canals (orifices, HA!) with Q-tips....i like the way it feels!
3] When I was about 8 i had a patch of wall beside my bed that i put my nose treasures on! I know....GROSS...but true! My mom found it one day when changing my sheets and guess who had to scrape it all off? ME! Natural consequences...never did it again!
4] I have a HUGE imagination and a million fantasies....i will tell you them too if you ask. Let's just say one of them plays out like the movie "Before Sunrise!" Thanks to Laurie for turning me onto that movie....ha.
5] I have some lovely fetishes/obsessions: hands, shoes, scarves, hats, yoga outfits, books, music, gadgets...nature...can nature be a fetish??
6] I have a constant dialogue going on in my head about string theory, sub quarks and bluons, and an intellectual affair with the Dali Lama (who is not supposed to touched by women incidentally) who wrote one of my favorite books on the subject called "The Universe in a Single Atom"...yep...welcome to my brain.
7] People never cease to amaze me....i LOVE people! They titillate me! I love the word titillate too!
8] I LOVE and get excited by textures. Textures like wood grain, my childrens' skin, tree bark, mountain sides.
9] I use to day dream that Oprah would show up on my doorstep to have a conversation about all the books and literature we have read. I would serve her tea and shortbread cookies....i don't dream that anymore but i would still love it to happen.
10] I am easily tantalized by Creme Brulee my favorite desert! I made it for the first time last week....it was orgasmic! :) I am actually easy to tantalize with ALL deserts!
11] In my life time i will learn French or Italian, learn to play the guitar, become an accomplished painter, work in an art gallery or mom and pop book store, climb a VERY tall mountain (one i haven't done yet), paddle the Pugent Sound, go to India and Tibet...possibly run the Boston Marathon if my body holds up! I am CERTAIN of these things!
12] I am verbose and everybody knows it! I try NOT to be, but like i said in #1...i like words! :-)
13] I love to sing....i am not any good at it anymore since my asthma kicked in a few years ago....but since i got asthma EVERYONE says my husky voice sounds like Janis Joplin, a singer! That's ironic!
14] I love irony.
15] I take stairs 2 at a time....i sometimes get a ahead of myself because of it! That's a conundrum! ;)
16] ...better make it a good one eh? I have NO troubles discussing bowel movements or any other physiological processes due to my education in Anatomy/Physiology. I actually thoroughly enjoy it. ok DONE! haha! Now you can call me a freak.
