Inside the MAC (military armistice comission) conference room at the JSA. This is where North and South Korea conduct meetings. Inside this building is the only secure way to cross the 38th parallel which is the border between North and South Korea.

This particular South Korean soldier who is standing in front of the entrance to the North was almost kidnapped by the DPRK. The door behind him was left unlocked and some North Korean soldiers broke through, grabbing him and trying to pull him to the north. This resulted in a human tug of war match between both sides as he was pulled back safely to the south. #vscocam #dprk #rok #korea #dmz
