Project Flickr - 12 months of same image

A few months ago I decided to do this project. I was thrilled to see Project Flickr was initiating the same monthly image project. One of the largest Pecan Growers in the USA is very near where I live. Every week as I drove passed the pecan orchard I would see the changing of the season by watching the harvest. Take into consideration that I live in the desert and we have no noticeable “change of season” here! I decided in November to start documenting a small part of the groves. As luck would have it, progress took a chunk of the orchard where first I started my photo journey. Five rows of old mature pecan trees were removed last week to make way for widening the road. I was disappointed to see the trees chopped down. I will continue my monthly photos from the same location and hopefully the orchard will still be dense enough so that the road will not be seen.
