Anima (Monotype)
Here’s a monotype made today after I finished printing two new photograms. I’m calling this process presso-gram since I have no idea what the formal name of this process is called. I placed the cheese cloth that I used to wipe the photogram plates directly on the press bed, covered the cheese cloth with paper, and ran it through the press under heavy pressure. What’s really cool about the print, is the cheese cloth left a deep, grid-like impression on the paper. I love this print. When it dries in a few days, I’ll scan it so you can see the impression and texture on the paper.
Anima (Monotype) on Hahnemuhle 300gsm. #1 of 1, 8.5″x14″.
