Swapping Stories

The crew for NS 112 has been on duty for about 1/2 hour and are getting things ready for their journey west to Moberly. The yard job is in the process of making several pokes. From my vantage point, I could see several interactions between the crews -- like they were swapping stories about experiences on the railroad.

 

When the SD40-2 came to rest here, I had to wonder if the locos might have similar conversations...

1642: "How's it going? Isn't it a fine day?"

7281: "Fine day indeed! Just you wait until they rip your face off and replace it with something new..."
