2018 - Disaster Recovery - Hurricane Michael
On October 10, 2018, Hurricane Michael made landfall near Mexico City, Florida as a category four storm. Twenty-five miles away, Panama City, Florida was also hard hit by the storm. At least 45 people in the United States lost their lives to the storm and an estimated $11 billion damage was done.
Many volunteer relief organizations worked to assist the storm victims. These images are related to the combined efforts of a Southern Baptist Disaster Relief feeding team and the Red Cross to feed those effected in the Panama City area.
