As a kid, it was fun to have your own pet in your pocket! Until you forgot to feed it and came back to a wee tombstone☠️ At least I think it was a tombstone.. I can't remember.
Since the kids have been watching Castle in the sky so many times, I figured I would practice more digital art by drawing the crystal from the movie. The closest shape to trace was a tamagotchi, which gave me the idea to turn Laputas crystal into a tamagotchi housing one of the robots.
I could only hope the owner of a Laputa tamagotchi wouldn't forget them like they had been in the movie 😬
Might put this design onto a reusable sticker book or sketchbook for my kids
