40 image hand held focus stack

 

I noticed in Adobe LR while picking images to export into Helicon Focus to be stacked that I have some inconstant exposures. I am treating the V860iii the same way I have treated my V1 and I have never seen this in the V1. This is while using at 1/128 but I had just done several deepish stacks of this guy.

 

Why would you not?

 

I should have let the flash rest a little as it may have been getting a bit warm. Will keep an eye on this as I continue to test it in the field.

 

I noticed right away that the V860iii leans a bit toward the yellow side so I am running a Kelvin setting and all is good.
