Welcome to 2024.

 

I was awake pretty early this morning. I had some prayer time before I got out of bed. Made a morning coffee and got ready to head out.

 

Gods Holy Spirit guided me this morning. This is not unusual. I was led in when to leave and also to walk to a certain spot. I stood in this particular spot looking for some time and could not see much.

 

I was told to step in and look more. That is when I seen 2 of these roosting on separate parts of the dead foliage seen in this image.

 

Once I seen the pics in the back of my camera I got a bit emotional and decided I had what I needed and with excitement walked back to load them onto my PC.

 

I have many images of them I could use this was the first stack I have processed.

 

The light behind hitting the grass etc from the rising sun was the deciding factor on the shutter speed I chose. I was very well braced to gather the 55 images that have been assembled in Helicon Focus.

 

Minimal to no movement while gathering the images led to a clean stack. Always happy when that happens!

 

Then over to Adobe PS for minimal editing. I barely go near the Exposure slider these days and since coming back I have a new way to edit my images.

 

My flash was set at 1/128 + 0.3 all of the other exif is not hidden from you.
