Gosainkuna-Langtang Trek

The Langtang Valley with Gosaikunda Trek is a 15-day escapade into the center of the Himalayas. From Kathmandu, the hike takes you through the depths of the green forests, beautiful countryside, and magnificent mountain ranges. Gosaikunda, a sacred lake up in the mountains high in the Himalayas, is the unique destination of the trek. This place is sacred for Hindus as well as Buddhists.

📅 Outline Itinerary:

 

Day 1:Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu

Day 2:Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1467mm) by Bus. 7 hours driving. O/N at guest house

Day 3:Trek from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2470 m.), 5 – 6 hours, O/N at guest house

Day 4:Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang village (3430m m.) 4-5 hours, O/N at guest house

Day 5:Trek from Langtang village to Kyangjin Gompa (3870m.), 2 -3 hours, O/N at guest house

Day 6:Hiking upto Chorkari ri(5050m) and back to Kyangjn Gompa. 5 -6 hours, O/N at guest house

Day 7:Trek down to Lama hotel (2470 m.) 5 - 6 hours, O/N at guest house

Day 8:Trek from Lama hotel to Thulo Syabru (2210 m.) 5 -6 hours, O/N at guest house

Day 9:Trek from Thulo Syabru to Sing Gompa (3330 m.) 5 - 6 hours, O/N at guest house

Day 10:Trek from Sing Gompa to Gosainkunda (4380 m.). 5 -6 hours, O/N at guest house

Day 11:Cross over the Lauribina pass (4610 m.) descend to Ghopte (3530 m.) 6 -7 hours, O/N at guest house

Day 12:Trek from Ghopte to Kutumsang (2470m) 5 -7 hours, O/N at guest house

Day 13:Trek from Kutumsang to Chisopani (2215m) 6 - 7 hours, O/N at guest house

Day 14:Trek from Chisopani to Sundari jal and drive by car to Kathmandu for half an hour. 4 - 5 hours

Day 15:Final Departure or onward for next program
