Saipal Base Camp Trek is an exciting 15-day expedition into the remote west of Nepal. The trail meanders through untouched wilderness, shady forests, and old settlements. During the trek, you reach Saipal Base Camp at around 4150 meters (13615 feet), with stunning views of the entire stretch of the Saipal Himalayan range. This little-explored route is ideal for those who want to take a more peaceful, off-the-beaten-track Himalayan experience.

 

Bookings open for Spring (March, April, May) and August (September, November, December)

 

📅 Outline Itinerary:

Day 1-2: Fly Kathmandu to Nepalgunj, then to Simikot. Meet the local guide and mule driver and trek to Hepka Khola.

Day 3-5: Trek to Salli Khola, Yalbang Monastery, and Chala.

Day 6-8: Explore Karang Khola viewpoint trek to Labuk Devsa, Rani Kharka, and Nun Kharka.

Day 9-12: An extra day at Nun Kharka, trek to Dharamsala, over Sankya La pass, and back to Chala.

Day 13-15: Trek to Dharapori, then to Simikot. Fly back to Nepalgunj and Kathmandu.
