NGC6960 e NGC6992 Asi294mcpro 33L 300s -10c 3D f4 Sam 135mm 20.06.2025 2h45m L-Ult

This is a wide-field capture of the spectacular Veil Nebula (NGC 6960 and NGC 6992), encompassing the entire region of this colossal supernova remnant. This remnant is the ghostly aftermath of a stellar death, representing one of the most powerful single events known to humankind! The Veil Nebula occupies such a vast area in our sky that its apparent size is equivalent to six times the diameter of the full moon! The explosion continues to release gas and stellar material at incredible speeds throughout the universe, painting this beautiful, intricate scene.
