[The Survivors RPG] Imperial Installment on Mimban: Tournament #3

Hey Guys,

 

Life has been busy lately but here is my entry for round #3 of The Survivors RPG. I apologize for my tardiness as I have not been feeling at my best (I feel a little sick) these past couple of days. I am excited for the future of this RPG and best wishes to MWBricks as well as Director KW who have both done this Tournament journey with me. Shout out to them, please follow and comment on their work, they are great builders.

Planet: Mimban

Location: On an old and forgotten Imperial Installment

The mission had gone exactly as planned, not one of us died. The easy part had been done and we were on our way to rendezvous with Ordin at the old imperial installment.

 

“What an easy mission this one's gonna be.” I thought to myself and held to that thought until we arrived at the installment.

 

There were troops everywhere!

 

So much for the base being “forgotten” and “ruined”. I mean, yes it could use a paint job, and yes the rats had begun to infiltrate the premise, but I wasn't prepared for these many imps.

 

“Ok, change of strategy” I turned around and said to both Pancho and Banji.

 

“Forget about busting in with blasters blazing we are outnumbered which means we need to change our plan to stealth instead,” I whispered to them as we ducked low as to not be seen.

 

“You see the bucket head at the control panel?” I asked Pancho.

 

“Yea, Porque?” he responded questionly.

 

“Well, the only way Ordin is going to be able to slip in and out unnoticed is if someone gives him access and the only way to get access is with that panel.” I pointed out.

 

“I see where you're going with this and I'm way ahead of you,” He said back to me.

 

“In that case go on ahead without us,” I said while nodding and turning to Banji.

 

“You and I are going to focus on taking out some bucket heads and changing gear to blend in more. These poor shots have a terrible fashion sense but it must be done.”

 

Banji nodded and that was the end of it. We each split up and took out a trooper or two changed gear and blended in with the crowd. Soon Ordin arrived and we slipped him in unnoticed as Pancho had obtained control of the panel.

 

Soon Ordin successfully recovered the plans and we slipped off the premises undetected. When asked where we were going we called in our lunch break and no further questions were asked. Honestly, it's surprising what these empty bucket heads will believe.

 

Oh and one more thing. A bomb or two may have been left behind “on accident”.

 

Basically, if the base wasn't already on the decline before then it's really going to need a new wall paint job... To that point, it may actually need new walls entirely.
