rp @moemotivate: When Black folks mess up & when we express our humanness, bc not everything is a mistake, sometimes it’s our humanness being lived out, the outcomes can be deadly for us.

 

The socialization of perfectionism that is rooted in white supremacy dehumanizes us all, but the impacts are the most devastating to Black folks.

As Black folks, we even internalize this pressure to be perfect & assimilate as a form of survival.
