rp @teachfortheculture: Especially for our Black and Brown youth, for whom so much of their time is spent in schools where the majority of time educators are asking them to recall and comply, as opposed to CREATE and IMAGINE. —— We can’t prepare youth to RADICALLY REIMAGINE a NEW, if ALL we are asking them to do is recall, comply, and remember!! ✊ New freedoms require new thinking. --
