On the 27th of October 1989 I photographed DE LA SOUL in @paradisoadam. They just released their fantastic debut album: ‘3 Feet High and Rising’ and it might have even been their first European tour.
This is the first time I show these photographs. A pity only ten fit. I was an art student back then. I remember I could freely move in front of the stage since it was not that crowded at all. I only had only two black and white 35MM films in my pocket. One for De La Soul and the other one I kept for Henry Rollins the next day. I developed and pushed the films myself in the bathtub at home and then they stayed 34 years in a sleeve for negatives.
