Las Vegas, New Year’s 2024/2025

Wow; nice way to end the 2024. Spending time in Vegas, and seeing an incredible concert of Duran Duran at the relatively new "FountaineBleu" hotel; a lovely new addition to the strip.
Duran Duran put on a hell of a show, playing many favorites, including "A View to a Kill," and my personal favorite of theirs, "Ordinary World," for which Simon Le Bon paused to give a nice modern contextual setup for, as well. They also did covers of ELO's "Evil Woman" and Rick James' "Super Freak." Terrific backup singers/dancers, and a great sax soloist, too.
Even though my wife is the bigger Duran Duran fan, it was one of the best live concert shows I've ever seen. Party like it's 1985...!
