THE RAINBOW MOUNTAIN:
This colorful wonder is the 'gate' to enter the Colorado valley north of the Cusipata valley and has been seen as very sacred by the locals of Peru at least since the time of the Incas. It is considered to be the most scenic and impressive red-color mountain and stands in great contrast to the snowy peaks surrounding mount Vinicunca. The views from the top are inspiring, offering a glimpse into the epicness and wildness of the mountains of the Andes.
The only difficulty to witnessing this wonder is that it can only be accessed after a challenging uphill trek. However, the trek promises breathtaking multicolored views of mountains, wildlife and local communities buzzing around in their agricultural lives.
