Hindi Diwas by Grade IX & X - September 14

Hindi Diwas is celebrated on September 14 each year to commemorate the proud day when the Constituent Assembly of India declared the Devanagari script language, Hindi as the official language in the Republic of India in 1949. However, the idea of using Hindi as the official language got sanctioned by the Constitution of India on 26th January 1950. Many schools, colleges, and offices celebrate this day with great enthusiasm by organizing debates, poetry, and story-telling competitions as well as cultural programs. Individuals dressed in Indian ethnic wear come forward to talk about the importance of the Hindi language and Indian culture. Hindi Diwas is a noble step to emphasize the importance of our national language as well as our culture. Have a look at how our students of Grade IX and X have enthusiastically celebrated the day!
