Sanskrit Diwas
World Sanskrit Day is celebrated to mark one of the oldest languages of the world, Sanskrit. The mother of most Indian Languages including Hindi, Gujarati, Bengali, it is also believed to be the root language for Latin. As per the Hindu lunar calendar, Sanskrit Diwas is commemorated on the Shravana Purnima day. To celebrate the day, the students of Grade IX and X participated in a drama and presented their verbal skills in the ancient language.
