*The Rochester Lilac Festival is the largest free festival of its kind in North America welcoming spring in Upstate NY. The festival’s more than 500,000 annual visitors will experience time-honored traditions and family activities while taking in the beauty and fragrant scents of the largest collection of lilacs in the Northeast, planted across the sprawling Highland Park gardens. We invite you to experience the 126th edition May 10-19, 2024. Upcoming Dates for festival highlights: May 10 – Opening Ceremony (10 am), festival grounds open (10:30 am through 8:30 pm),May 11, 12, 18, 19 – Art in the Park (10 am – 6 pm Saturdays, 10 am- 5 pm Sundays) , May 11 – Lilac Parade (commences at 10:30 am at Science Prkwy), May 14 – Seniors Day, May 19 – 45th Annual Lilac Run 5K/10K, and Donut Dash.
