A Cat's nose is alive with hundreds-of-millions of nerves, is 14-times more sensitive than a human's and is a feline's most important sense.

 

This archived photograph was taken with a Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro lens mounted to a Canon 40D. Shot at MFD for a lifesize reproduction of 1:1.

 

Chloe's (R.I.P. sweetie) nose was about 10mm, side-to-side.
