Clearing Drama
"Clearing Drama" Got out for an overnight backpack into the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. Waited out some thunderstorms while setting up camp, but then the weather started to clear and we were able to get out and do some exploring. After setting up in a few other locations but not feeling satisfied, we decided to make a big and very strenuous move to this location. Slippery rock and some climb-overs and scrambling was exhausting, but so worth it to end up in this location. It was so exciting to watch the clearing drama right at sunset light up the clouds and peak, just as the water calmed enough to grab this reflection shot. Well worth the effort!
