Justice delayed but never denied.
Racism is the real evil that exists in this world, like everyone my soul has been saddened to it's core over the death of George Floyd. Not just for George but for every black, indigenous, and ethnic minority who has been disrespected, harassed, intimidated, mistreated, bullied or murdered not just by the police but society in general. My heart breaks that we have not healed the gaping wound that racism infects our society with, instead it's been poked and prodded until it's infection like a cancer has boiled over into every crevice of our society.
Love is the only thing that can heal this wound. Love is so much more than words on a Hallmark card. It is the most powerful force in this universe. It is the only thing more powerful than hatred, and the only thing that heals the scars left behind by racism. Love in action...there is no love in apathy. There is no love in turning a blind eye. We have to eradicate this cancer at every turn with a universal voice powerful in it's convictions and backed by the force of love.
There is no love in revenge, it feeds the cancer and destroys the soul. Revenge is not justice because it's unjust to ourselves. Justice is always served in the end, call it karma, God, the law of the universe, it matters not, what matters is there's a price to pay when we seek to destroy the worth and happiness of others.
