Media Essay

The theme I chose for this final project is family. When reviewing the photos I took for the selfie, desire, and things I can have albums, I realized all of my desires and influences are rooted in my family and family values. I value comfort and relaxation because my mom and I love to relax inside and drink tea at the end of the day. I value and surround myself with art because many people in my family are artists, so I was raised to have a creative mindset. I love to surround myself with family and take family vacations because my family always gets together to spend time with one another and often goes to the beach on vacation. When I think about things that I want that I can or can't have, I think of wanting to have my dog here at college with me, but since I can't have that, I settle for having some plants to take care of. This value of taking care of plants and animals also comes from my family, as we all have dogs and love to garden and care for living things.
