Supporting Troops on July 4th
CP 7023 is one of 5 specially painted locomotives meant to honor veterans in both the US and Canada. Per CP's website,
"CP 7023 wears a two-tone gray paint scheme designed after the livery applied to Canadian and American fighter jets".
And while there was no Air Force on July 4th, 1776, it's an appropriate nod to our veterans to shoot a commemorative military locomotive on Independence Day. Here, on the evening of July 4th, CP 7023 sits at Maury St under the skyline of Downtown Houston.
