FJ40 MY1976 Classic Restoration - Pt3 Rust Repair & Body Panels

One of the great benefits of the MrLandcruiser Yard is the range and number of body panels we have available that we can sacrifice to undertake repairs and replace major sections of damaged panels on the vehicles we restore. Some of the panels on the 1976 FJ40 would have take way to may hours to effect a repair if we had not been able to replace certain sections, plus we are replacing like with like in that the metal is all original Toyota steel. There was about 130 hours of repair work on this truck to get it ready to go to the pain shop. We leave any of the bog work to the experts at the paint shop as the finish they achieve is outstanding. The next time we see the body it will be finished in 416 Toyota Beige.
