An NJT train bound for Port Jervis passes BJ Tower, which once guarded the interlocking at this location.
I've had this as a WIP and finally got around to finishing him up.
The whole sculpt was sculpted using Greenstuff and painted with Citadel and Apple Barrel paints. Before anyone says the eyes look anime they're supposed to be realistic :c This is also my first entry into JerdFigs contest. Also little teaser in one photo ;)
Hope you guys like this custom! Comments and faves appreciated!
I didn't post the before shot as I did with a previous blue jay image. This image is the after, it had twigs in the foreground that were removed as per the previous post. Gotta love that Affinity "Repaint" tool.

The Beijing BJ212 can be considered one of the icons of Chinese automobile production of the past. The history of the BJ 212 is an interesting one. According to a post by Erik ( www.chinesecars.net ) on China Car Forums, the Beijing BJ 212 was developed from 1963-1964 by Beijing Auto Works (BAW) and made its first public appearance at Tiananmen Square in Beijing during the start of the Cultural Revolution and was used as Mao Zedong's inspection car. The Beijing BJ 212 was probably inspired by UAZ 469, since first prototypes appeared in 1960-1961. Mass production of the UAZ only commenced in late 1972, 6-7 years after the launch of the BJ 212!

The BJ-21 can carry four soldiers (three inside and one gunner). The versatility of the chassis allows it to be used for numerous missions, from general utility and patrol duties as well as light reconnaissance.

Both Erik and I thought our attempts to build vehicles based off of the French VBL were rather lacking, so we thought we'd go back and redo our respective MOCs. This new version of the BJ features an actual V-hull, and angles that all around reflect the VBL's shape better. Pretty happy with it. Check out Erik's version here.
