Pre-impact Header

It’s been a while since I’ve posted a photo to Flickr. I continually peruse photos and fav them thought. Thanks to everyone that shares their wonderful photos. My passion of shooting landscape has been put on the shelf for both travel baseball and soccer. Very little time left for anything less. Sports photography is quite challenging in its own right and I’m finding it interesting. When you have a vested in interest in the people playing, getting action shots when the excitement grows during a game makes it difficult. I tend to cheer instead of shoot. However, This photo caught the intensity quite well. My son is #9. He was positioned well and got a nice jump. The question remains.... Did he close the deal and get the header for the score? 😉
