Staircase in the Technical University of Regensburg. The university also has an "Institute of Scalology", which is the science of the originalities and the appeal of stairs, or in brief, "knowledge of the staircase". This is the only one worldwide - with regard to my photographic obsession quite funny, isn't it? 😄

Two Bowens Esprit 500 W/S monolights--PC sync to the key light with the fill slave automatically triggered upon fire. On the left of the phone, at about an 8 o'clock angle, I shot through a white umbrella which was about the same level as the subject. The second (fill) light was higher up and maybe 6 feet away at a 5 o'clock angle, shooting into an umbrella facing a wall. The fill bounce off the wall diffused it pretty well overall and allowed me to bring out the gross, vintage-looking, olive-green background a bit more. I still have no idea what I'm doing, but I like the results of this experiment.

218 472-9 accelerates her RE21 train out of the Oker station. In the next years a ESTW will bring an end to the old mechanical signal glory in the north harz region

Nach dem Ende des Bahnhofsfestes in Oebisfelde fuhr der Leerpark wieder zurück nach Staßfurt. An der B246a bei Schönebeck kam für einige Momente die Sonne heraus und beleuchtete 41 1144-9.

Seitdem die RBH ihre 143er nicht mehr fahren ist meine Begeisterung für die Blau/Silber bespannten Kesselzüge rapide abgeebbt. Vorbei die Zeiten der Trabbis in Doppeltraktion, stattdessen sieht man jetzt an den wenigen verbliebenen RBH Zügen 145er wie hier 145 013-9. Doch selbst diese "Karren" sind scheinbar überzählig, so wurden bereits wieder einige an die "Mutter" DBC zurückgegeben. Vom einstigen Expansionskurs scheint bei der RBH nicht mehr viel übrig geblieben zu sein.
Just a few years ago this train could have been hauled by a class 143er, but this is all long gone...history if you like. Now RBH has only some Class 145 left for her last remaining trains. Here 145 013-9 rolls past an old signal tower near Magdeburg Neustadt
