Laying By
From the highway, I have noticed this farmer's practice of storing these 'ton bales' around his barns. I have wanted to photograph them for several years. Last week, I had the time and there were more bales than before, so I stopped, walked down the embankment and made some images. I like this particular view because of the juxtaposition of the traditional barns and fence, the newer-style bales and the satellite dish on the roof.
