I’ll begin a series of posts of that walk, beginning with some shots of buildings and graffiti as I walked from Dale Street up to and along Tithebarn Street. I’d intended to photograph a new shopping mall along Pall Mall but couldn’t see anything resembling a mall on that street. It was only when I returned home that I discovered that One Pall Mall is in Bixteth Street – the next street along Tithebarn Street – behind the former Exchange Station, which I did photograph. My favourite shot from this post is one that I never thought would turn out when I took a snap through a barber’s window in Dale Street – my first shot of the afternoon.
