Philip, The Pheasant
On my way to buy my Christmas trees, I stopped at The Pixies (where my track crosses the burn/stream) to fill the feeders for the wee birdies. This guy appeared looking surprised but curious…coupled with a little bit ready for fight or flight, and big bit gorgeous!
I’d like to think this is Philip - the pheasant who has been visiting for a couple of years, now. Possibly. I hope so! He waited for a few minutes then toddled off, in a fit of pique as I drove past. I know he is helping himself to peanuts and sunflower hearts. You’re very welcome, Philip.
