Curlew muslin finished and I'm in 😍. There are a couple fit issues- such as, how do y'all avoid pokey bust points when sewing with a stretch stitch on bias? It's probably user error. The fit is fab and now want all the things on the bias! #se

Feeling a little silly that I've never tried out the triple stitch function that mimics top-stitch thread. The one in the middle is regular stitch to show the difference. Really liking it, just have to go a little slower for straighter lines. #sewing #tri

Note to self: when dying linen, be sure to serge the edges that will fray and tangle. It prevented an even coverage of color. 😕 The uneven look is a little interesting, sort of tie-dye, but we were hoping for fuchsia. You can see the pile of serg
IRL it's more of a cross between raspberry and beet root. Much more saturated than the original pale pink. Having only a meter limits what I can do with it, probably a simple top. Will be digging through my patterns soon. ✂️ #dying #fabricdying #l

Just did the BEST neckband insertion on a knit (and a slinky one, no less!) by taking my time and using my sewing machine instead of the serger. The only downside is that my seam allowance is scant and too tricky to serge. Think I'll have to see if Joann
