I'd had a wonderful dinner of rack of lamb with roast potatoes and perfectly cooked vegetables. I normally don't have dessert but when the food is all included in your fare it's hard to say no, especially to creme brule!! The food on the train was exceptionally good.
I always got off at all the stops because it was nice to catch some fresh air. And here, I wanted to get a picture of the grain elevators (the structures on the left) which are iconic symbols of the Prairies. I was excited about the next day, our last, because we'd go through the Rockies! I was a bit worried though because we were running about 5-6 hours late and if we lost much more time we'd hit darkness part way through the mountains.
