Queenstown

by fiordland_lover

Heaven of adventures and outdoor activities in New Zealand - one of the most popular tourist destination - Queenstown has developed from a quiet lakeside town around 1970s into an adventure capital of New Zealand. The first ever Bungy jumping was also invented here by A.J. Hackett. Many activities are also available in Queenstown including jet-boating, water-rafting, highwire bungy, swing bungy jumping, hang-gliding, tandem-parapenting and tandem skydiving - in summer. In winter, Queenstown also provides great location for skiing and snowboarding - the Remarkables and Coronet Peak. For more relaxing activities, cruising around Lake Wakatipu, Gondola and Luge riding and tramping around Queenstown are some of many activities that can be enjoyed in this adventure capital (which I usually prefer, credit to Real Journeys, Southern Discoveries, Million Dollar Cruises, NZSki Ltd, and Skyline Gondola). I love this town so I came to Queenstown 5 times during my summer, winter and spring holidays. Visit my blog kiwianapavlova.wordpress.com/
