Objective 3: Composition Techniques

 

3. Fill the Frame: This photo represents fill the frame because the main focus in this photo is the leaves.

 

4. Backgrounds: This photo represents background because the background isn’t distracting from the main focus.

 

5. Leading Lines: This photo represents leading lines because the leaves are creating a lines that slowly gets smaller the farther it gets.

 

7. Texture: This photo represents texture because you can tell all the small creases in the leaves.

 

 

Objective 4: Lighting (side, back, soft, hard, fill)

The photo I chose has side lighting and soft lighting, because the main direction the light is coming from is the left side.

 

Objective 5: Post Production (resize, contrast, sharpening, and others you have done)

The adjustments I have made to this photo is resizing it to a smaller image to fit Flickr. I also added contrast with the edges to make this image softer. I also sharpened the front leaves to make it more eye catching. Corrections/adjustments

 

Objective 6: Critique

Strength: One of the strengths in this photo is being able to tell that it’s a warm fall day by the lighting and how the leaves are starting to fall and change colour.

 

Area for growth: I could improve the editing, not changing the colour so much.

 

 

Done
