Murder on Ganymede: Scene 1
Murder on Ganymede: Scene 1
They say a full moon is romantic. Hah! Not if you meet up with a murderous partner who thinks you've hidden their share of the benitoite heist. And me without my jetpack. Damn!
note: loc/windlight/clothes/etc text on Scene 1 & Scene 2 is the same. So if you've read one, you don't need to read the other. The sky windlight is the same, just a different angle.
Location: Florence, Second Life

Florence has a gorgeous windlight, almost painterly with a grey misty morning perfect fishing weather sky. I can imagine arriving early morning, setting out their paints to catch that light on canvas. The lovely coastal setting was put together by Gnaaah Xeltentat and Tomasso Franizzi with a lighthouse, boats, docks, small islands with the help of landscape/set artists Ines Shelby (ines.laurie) and Elivra Kyotori. He has a flickr group for the place here: www.flickr.com/groups/florenceatlowtide/
However, I used a different windlight.

One of the coolest things that SL has done is EEP where you can drop in your preferred environments to the regions you visit. And of course creators have jumped on the bandwagon for us photographers to make whatever scene we wish. One of my favorite EEP creators is Poly. I was introduced to her EEPs at a Photo Fair talk and loved what the lecturer, Wren Carling Parker, www.flickr.com/photos/wrencarling/, was doing with it. Poly sells 4 folders of EEP sky and water settings and I've gotten all 4 because I love the mix in each folder of ordinary, scifi, moody and crazy in each folder. And no, I don't know them or blog for them. Just my opinion is all, probably too freely given, lol.
Winter Phoenix kindly helped with this scene. We had a hard time finding a good pushing pose for him but I had this in my inventory. I think it works.
Pose 1 : Dramatic Stance by Shutter
My pose was made by Winter. I flew just off the edge of the cliff and then put on the pose as I hovered
Pose 2: gunshot 2 by Winter Phoenix
What is Winter wearing? No clue, I should ask him.
My body & clothes:
hair: Elenoire Windblown Mesh Hair by Wasabi
clothes: Shy Breeze - Pink by Dead Dollz
shoes: Yves Heels Maitreya [Light Pink] by Noir
Lipstick: Rose lips add onn by WoW Skins
Skin: Mariko by Pumec
Body: Maitreya Lara v5.3
Head: Catwa Alice
Shape: chicas Gaga shape by Starr Dikes, altered by myself to accommodate Catwa 0 depth -- this shape was in an avatar set I've had for ages but i find it works well with a lot of pre-Maitreya mesh clothes I still have in my inventory (although the dress I am wearing is Maitreya fitted dress). I'm happy when people give you shapes you can alter when needed. A lot of shapes don't let you do that which is too bad.
