Stranger #45 - Lord Scarmortin

'I'm a rather brilliant actor,' Lord Scarmortin said smoothly in his clipped English accent, 'and I'm particularly excellent at playing villains.'

It was one of my most bizarre stranger encounters today. I kept expecting Lord Scarmortin to say 'actually, I'm Trevor - pleased to meet you.' But he didn't! He WAS Lord Scarmortin for the entire encounter.

In fact, by the end of our conversation, I think I started to become Lady Scarmortin - picking up on his beautifully spoken English, and directing him with my frightfully best grammar to look down the lens as only a villainous character could do.

He didn't disappoint.

'Would I make a good villain?' I asked hopefully.

'No,' he replied.

I found the evil Lord Scarmortin chilling out at the top of the Bigg Market in Newcastle - right next to Gypsy Angeline Lee's caravan, so watch out if you're passing. If she doesn't grab you first, *he* will! Mwahahahahahahhhh!

Thank you Lord Scarmortin. I hope you find the photo pleasing. Meanwhile, I'm off for some elocution lessons...

Lord Scarmortin is #45 in my 100 strangers project. Find out more about the project and see pictures taken by other photographers at the 100 Strangers Flickr Group page
