Rollinsford

Two hikers observe the now-westbound NHN train for Dover as it ducks under the wooden frame pony truss bridge over Pan Am's freight mainline. The Northcoast took the #1 track into Dover and reversed into the yard due to a westbound freight being stopped in the yard.

The pony truss bridge is the only B&M bridge of its type remaining in place, and has an unusual design with three trusses and two lanes; although the lane for pedestrians has mostly rotted away. The deck appears to be in good shape with signs of recent repairs.
