Using #StrengthsFinder (#CliftonStrengths) to live my life with a mission, starting with a motto - 'Unlocking the potential of the human race' • • I was recently reflecting on coming out with a mission statement that would make me want to jump out of bed and go about impacting and empowering lives. It started with looking back at all the life coaching, conflict coaching, leadership workshops and StrengthsFinder workshops, I saw a common denominator present in all the work I did - I felt very fulfilled when I knew the person I coached or the team I facilitated had discovered a potential that they might not have realised was there in the first place. • • And as I continue to coach and focus my life on serving others, I get a new level of fulfilment that surpasses self-serving ambition. • • Some call it 'The Shift' that happens during your mid-life crisis, others call it the change in focus 'from success to significance'. Whichever it is, I feel a change that is getting clearer and clearer.
