Objective 3: Composition Techniques – Use the guide on the website
2. Perspective and depth: The lower perspective makes the image look large that it is. The lower perspective draws the eye to the bottom of the image because it was made the largest.
4. Backgrounds: The background is simple because everything is normally in the environment that the picture is taken. The background is slightly out of focus which draws the eye to the focal point.
5. Leading Lines: The yellow lines focus the eyes to follow them and create leading lines.
7. Texture: The texture is created from the rocks that are on the ground. The rocks on the ground create a rough texture.
Objective 4: Lighting (side, back, soft, hard, fill)
Types of lighting and how they contribute to the image: The image as soft lighting because the sun was blocked by the shade of the wall.
Objective 5: Post Production (resize, contrast, sharpening, and others you have done)
Corrections/adjustments made: darkened, contrasted, sharpened,
Objective 6: Critique
Analyse your photograph for strengths and areas for improvement (consider composition, lighting, exposure, overall feel, etc.)
Strength: The lower perspective for the larger focal point
Area for growth: Could have blurred the background more to be less of a distraction
